Hi, my name is Kacey Johnson and I am 18 years old. This is my 7th year playing club volleyball and my 4th year making the 200 mile round trip commute to play at 951 Elite. This year I am playing on the 18-1 Elite team.
I have played Libero/DS, Setter, and OH/RS on past club teams, which has helped me become a well-rounded player. I have learned to be a positive
force that helps hold the team together on the court.
I am a Senior at Palm Desert High School, where I played Libero on the Varsity Aztec Volleyball Team. This was my 3rd Varsity season as a starting
defensive player. Our team was the Desert Valley League Champion in both 2015 and 2016 and runner up in 2017. In addition to passing, I was a top server on our team with a 3 year serving percentage of 96.5 %. You can see all of my high school stats on MaxPreps and find links to my hudl season highlight videos.
Off the court I am centered on my academics. I have a 4.8 GPA and rank #19 of 481 in the PDHS class of 2018. I have always been a good student, but I am especially proud that I am able to maintain this level of academic success with the burden of traveling out of town several days a week to play for a volleyball team and club that I love!
When I am not playing volleyball or doing schoolwork I like to spend time with my friends, listen to music, and watch my brothers play football, basketball and baseball. In college, I hope to major in Kinesiology or Biology and eventually pursue a career in Physical Therapy or Pediatric Cardiology.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact my coach & club director.
